    A: BHRT stands for Biodentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. It’s a type of hormone therapy that uses hormones identical to those produced naturally by your body.

    1. Relief of menopausal symptoms: For women, BHRT can help relieve symptoms of menopause.
    2. Improved quality of life: By alleviating symptoms caused by hormonal imbalances, BHRT can improve overall quality of life and increase energy levels, mental clarity, and sexual function.
    3. Better bone health: Estrogen replacement therapy has been shown to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures in postmenopausal women.
    4. Improved cardiovascular health: BHRT may help improve cholesterol levels and lower the risk of heart disease in some patients.
    5. Better sleep: BHRT may help improve sleep quality and alleviate insomnia in some patients.

    Simply, enter your location, choose a lab nearby, and schedule your blood test appointment.

    We offer lab testing at BioReference Labs for most of our patients residing in New York or New Jersey. If you prefer, and you live in an area that is serviceable, we also offer the option to have a mobile phlebotomist come to your home to draw labs. Both of these options are charged an additional fee of $99 for each draw. If you are on an existing subscription that includes follow up lab work, we will invoice you for the additional fee. Once paid, we’ll create your lab requisition and send follow up instructions on setting up the lab draw.

     
     

    We do not directly accept insurance, but we do offer insurance-pay options for certain treatments. For women, we can send specific prescriptions—such as estrogen and progesterone—to your local pharmacy, allowing you to use your insurance benefits. Additionally, FDA-approved GLP-1/GIP weight loss and type 2 diabetes medications, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro, may be eligible for coverage. While we assist with prior authorizations and prescription submissions, we do not bill insurance directly.

    Our labs, supplements, and peptides are not covered by insurance. Consider us your concierge platform for specialized care. Many of our therapies and approaches are classified as preventative care, which is rarely covered by insurance.

    Lab results can take 7-10 business days to be resulted. Labs results and a link to schedule an appointment to review the results will be provided once they are fully resulted.
